General Course Questions
How do I receive my official AHA certification card?
All Bright Star CPR certifications are officially backed by the American Heart Association. Upon successful completion of your class, your digital AHA eCard will be sent directly to your registered email address on the very same day.
How long are the certifications valid for?
All official American Heart Association (AHA) CPR, AED, BLS, and First Aid certifications are valid for exactly two (2) years from the date of issue.
What is the difference between BLS and Heartsaver CPR?
Basic Life Support (BLS) is designed specifically for healthcare professionals (nurses, doctors, EMTs, dental staff) and focuses on clinical-grade team-based rescue. Heartsaver is designed for non-clinical lay rescuers (teachers, office workers, corporate staff) to satisfy OSHA and general workplace safety requirements.
